1st June 
Ballymacash Cubs hold their 15th annual water fight at St. Marks Church starting at 7.30pm ending at 8.30pm. As part of the Centenary celebrations, they are extending the invitation to as many Cubs from the other packs who want to attend. Contact any the Ballymacash Cub leaders for more info. PS the DC will be there as well and food will be served!

8th June
Presentation of the Chief Scouts Gold, Platinum and Diamond awards along with Queens Scout Awards at Belfast City Hall. Applications are on a strictly first come first served basis and should be submitted to HQ (NI) asap. Remember TO ENSURE THE APPLICATION IS SIGNED OFF BY THE APPROPRIATE ADC AND THE DC IS MADE AWARE OF ALL NOMINEES. There is no formal cut off date - but the sooner the better to avoid disappointment!


June 9th
NI Cub Football finals hosted by Antrim District. Best of luck to 1st Lisburn Cubs. 


June 15th
A water activity evening for all Explorers and Scouts is to be held at the Craigavon Water sports Centre starting at 7.00pm , ending at 9.00pm. Cost is £12 per person and this includes 2 activities, wet suits, life jackets and activities run by fully qualified instructors. June 20th
Sees the 25th Lisburn Half marathon and fun and during that period the District has played its part by manning water stations at various points around the course. We hope this year will see more of the same and the DC will be writing to GSLs looking for volunteers - you never know who you might see taking part! Please put this date in your diary and if called upon, will help out.
